Voted Best salon, spa and barbershop by Chapel Hill News

In the April 22nd issue of the Chapel Hill News, Mina's Studio, a full service salon in Chapel Hill, was voted the best in Orange County in seven beauty salon awards in the annual Rose Awards. Published in its annual edition, the poll recognizes the most popular and highly rated local business as voted on by the residents of the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough and Pittsboro communities.

This marks the eighth year Mina's Studio was named best salon in Chapel Hill and the sixth year they were voted as the best spa. In addition they were voted best barbershop and best customer service. "We're very humbled by the awards and the local support we've received from the Chapel Hill and surrounding areas over our 20+ years in the area", said co-owner Louann Doran. The salon also received individual accolades of best hair stylist to Gabriela Bozymski, best barber to Jorge Esquivel and best barista to Matthew Darrah. "We're excited to win the best salon and spa awards but it's especially nice to see the readers of Chapel Hill News to highlight some of our top employees with these individual awards" said co-owner Alejandra Scott.

The best barista award won by Matthew Darrah may throw off people for a salon to win this but Mina's Studio is one of the few salons in the area that has a complimentary full espresso bar. Clients can request a cappuccino, latte, shot or double shot of espresso or a Water Americano with the option to add several different syrups or other add-ons such as vanilla, chocolate, Irish creme, hazelnut or caramel.
