Mina's Studio featured on WCHL's Today's Business radio program

Mina's Studio owners Alejandra Scott and Louann Doran were interviewed by Sharon Hill for the WCHL program "Today's Business". Today’s Business looks to bring some of the brightest minds to radio, giving us a unique look into what is driving Triangle businesses today. The interview aired June 25 at 10am and 7pm on AM 1360 and is also available at www.chapelboro.com. Some of the radio show topics covered in the hour long interview include:

• services at the salon such as hair, body, nail and skin care
• the manicure and pedicure services including the Mina's studio pipeless pedicure chairs that are more sanitary than most normal pedicure chairs and feature water jets as part of the pedicure
• what makes the salon special
• the awards they've won such as "best salon in the Triangle" by Metro Magazine, Herald-Sun, Chapel Hill News, Chapel Hill Magazine and Citysearch
• the importance of education in the salon industry to have the best salon professionals that remain informed of new trends and techniques
• the variety of levels of hair stylists at the salon to fit every budget
• how they came to Mina's Studio and the salon business
• the bridal services available and how far people will travel for their wedding services (as far as China!)
• how they came to Chapel Hill and what makes the area so special

The interview was a good opportunity for Mina's Studio to talk about what makes their salon unique and how they've survived all the ups and downs over their 20+ years of  serving the Chapel Hill and surrounding area. Mina's Studio has not only survived the tougher economic times they've also recently renovated and expanded offering new equipment, new improved aesthetics and more space for more salon employees.
