When 15-501 splits into 15-501 and Franklin St., stay to the left of the split (stay on US 15-501).

Take a right at the second light, onto Elliott Rd.

Take I-40 West towards Durham/Chapel Hill.

Take US 15-501 exit 270.

Turn left at the light at the end of the exit onto 15-501 / Durham Chapel Hill Blvd. towards Chapel Hill.
