Martha Pena

Martha Pena
Hair Stylist

Experience: I have been a cosmetologist since 1990 and have been at Mina's Studio since 2004.
Speciality: Hand & foot massage
Certification: Title in Cosmetology by Hermann Institute in Caracas, Venezuela, Certified Cosmetology by NC board of Cosmetology, Continuing training by Instructors from Aveda, Bumble & bumble, REDKEN, Aquage and Personal coaching by Louann Doran, American Board certified hair colorist.
Creative Approach: When I talk to my clients about their hair, I try to capture the image of what they want to achieve, and then my goal is to accomplish that look for them. The style of your hair reflects your state of mind and it can't be done just with a blow dryer. With every stroke of the shears and razor I help my clients discover the true beauty of their hair. The most rewarding part of my work is to help a client who does not feel good with her color or style and when I see their faces smiling in my mirror there is no words that can describe my felling of accomplishment.
Reviews: "Gabi and Martha were amazing stylists for my wedding day. They were both laid back but also made sure that all the girls were done in plenty of time for pictures. I loved all the hairstyles they created and would definitely recommend both Gabi and Martha and Mina's Studio to any future bride." by Megan E., DemandForce

"Always glad to come back to Martha for my weekly wash and blow dry after being away. " by Anonymous, DemandForce

"I got a basic shampoo, cut, and style. Martha did a wonderful job and I was very happy with my cut and style...The service and attention provided by Martha were wonderful. She understood what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page throughout the appointment." by Lee H.

Hobbies: When I'm not making my clients happy I spend my time with my family. We love to travel and do it every chance we can. We also enjoy walking our dogs and getting together with friends. You only have one life so you have to make the most of it!
